Shiviti with Birds

Inspired by easten-European Jewish paper-cut works. With a verse from Psalm 16:8: “I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken,” which helps us to concentrate and immerse ourselves in praying, and gives a feeling of harmony. Tradition Jewish symbols are: crown of the kingdom with wings of angels, birds symbolising Cherubs from the Ark of the Covenant. Was usually placed on the wall facing Jerusalem as a direction for prayers.
